How To Get A Transit Visa?

Getting a transit visa for an upcoming trip is not a hard process, and applying for it is similar to applying for any other visa type and requires selected documents.

Malaysia Embassy: One way is to visit the embassy in your country or a consulate or licensed visa application center to submit your application. This will require that you apply in person and submit your application form. The embassy will schedule an interview with you for a set date to collect your documents and ask a question about the trip. The Transit visa allows the holder to visit any part of the Kuala Lumpur or study there for up to 4 days before they are ready to continue their journey. However, bear in mind that nationals from visa exempt countries do not need a transit visa for Malaysia because they have automatic access for 14 days visa free.
