Madagascar is open for business, and the government welcomes visitors for business-related activities as long as they possess a Madagascar Business Visa. This visa program has been issued to visitors for a while now as the government seeks to open the economy to foreign direct investments and new talents. To facilitate the inflow of visitors, Madagascan embassies and foreign missions issue business visas to eligible applicants with genuine business interests. If you would like to know all about the visa, keep reading.
Madagascar Business Visa
A business visa is issued to visitors who are business persons, professionals, or investors coming for business related activities. There are several benefits attached to this travel document; firstly, the holder can visit any part of the country to pursue their business interests. As a business visitor to Madagascar, you can attend business conferences and exhibitions or negotiate contracts with partners, associates, or representatives who may or may not be Madagascar citizens.
Secondly, you can visit as an investor looking to start a new business, invest in an existing business, or even partner with other business persons. The business visa is so flexible that you are not restricted to what you can do during your stay; as long as you are a genuine business visitor and now coming for any other reason, you are good to go.
A business visa is valid for 90 days and allows the visitor to stay for up to 90 days. Furthermore, business visas are single entry documents, so they can only be used once, but there are exceptions where the visitor may be handed a multiple entry visa which allows the holder to visit the country several times within a calendar year.
