The embassy in India will request the following.

Passport: An Indian passport with a minimum of three months validity counting from the day you plan to leave Germany. It must have at least one blank page for stamps and stickers.
Round Trip Itinerary: A copy of your round trip itinerary showing flight numbers and the entry and departure date from Germany.
Travel Insurance Policy: As with Schengen visitors, you must possess a travel insurance policy that can provide a minimum cover of €30,000 in case of illness, death, medical emergencies, or accidents.
Accommodation: A document like a hotel reservation or rental agreement showing where you will stay in Germany.
Financial Statement: Financial documents like a bank statement showing that you have the financial capacity to cover your bills. The statement must cover the last three months.
Sponsor Letter: If a sponsor is funding your trip, they must issue this letter, and attached to it should be their bank statement.
Visa Fee: The visa application fee must be paid with the receipt attached to the application form.
Invitation Letter: An invitation letter issued by the individual or entity inviting you to Germany.
Cover Letter: You wrote and signed a cover letter explaining your reasons for visiting Germany.
