Transit Passengers

Passengers that have confirmed onward flight tickets from Burundi to another country must remain in the airport's transit area. They must also have documents like visas or residency permits for their next destination. Not A Work Visa: Visitors coming to Burundi with an e-visa are reminded once again that the visa is only for social, transit, and business visits of a noncommercial nature; it is not a work visa, nor can you use it for permanent residency. Holders are advised to use it for the purpose for which it was issued.
