Do All Foreigners Need An Albanian Business Visa?

Not all foreigners need an Albania business visa. For instance, if you are from a country on Albania's visa-free list, you don't need to apply for a business visa to come for business engagements. You may only need a visa if you want to stay for an extended period. Business visas are only required for nationals from non-visa-exempt countries.

Albania Business Visa Requirements

You must submit these documents to get a business visa for Albania

Application Form: A duly signed and completed visa application form. Ensure that the information you provide conforms with the other documents you submit.

Passport Valid: A passport with a minimum of 6 months validity. Passports that expire sooner will not be accepted.

Photograph: Two recent passport-sized photographs showing your face clearly without glasses.

Valid Visa: If you have a valid Schengen visa or a visa to the US, you can include it in your application.

Invitation Letter: A letter of invitation written on the host's letterhead inviting you to Albania.

Proof Of Funds: You will need to prove that you have sufficient funds to cover your expenses.

Round Trip Ticket: A round trip ticket reservation to and from Albania showing the entry date and the departure date.

 

How To Apply For A Business Visa?

If you want to apply for a business visa, you may need the Albanian embassy in your country or any of their accredited agent in your country. They will request all the highlighted documents and process your application afterward. If you qualify for it, the visa will be issued to you within a few weeks.

Alternatively, you may choose the e-visa option if it is open to applicants from your country.

The Albanian government introduced the electronic visa process to decongest its foreign missions and simplify the visa application process so applicants can get their visas as quickly as possible. Physical copies of the document are not required; only soft copies are uploaded and submitted online.

E visas are sent to the applicant's registered email within 24-72 hours as long as they meet all the requirements. Citizens from selected countries can visit Albania on business and stay for a short time without a visa. These countries include Saudi Arabia, Oman, Thailand, Bahrain, India, Egypt, and Russia. In addition, citizens of all Schengen countries can visit and Stay in Albania for 90 days per visit without a visa. So if you are not from any eligible visa-free countries, you can still visit Albania as long as you have an Albania visa.
